Day16 New York (Sunday 14th)

Woke about 8:30, breaky in Starbucks and using the internet, been a few days, since we got to New York actually. Using AT&T, $4.00 for 2 hours. Don’t get much time to collect my thoughts but am able to simply upload all photos as the 54Mb service is quick, so its easiest to simply upload everything and sort out the crap later.

I take the back pack and PC back to the room and we walk down to a half price ticket sales to show and plays. It costs us $60 each (50%) for some pretty good seats to Monty Pythons Spamalot. A stage show/musical with minister/father from Seventh Heaven, Steven Collins, as the lead role as King Arthur, also Drew Lachey (Jessica Simpson’s ex husband’s brother). While we’re waiting for the show to start we eat at Juniours after making our way through a crowd at Time Square where a show was on with the main appearance seemed to be the guy out of Romio and Juliet who Dicaprio killed and got banished. lol Well I know what I mean.

Chris gets flustered by the abruptness of the NY people and ordered about 50cm of ribs for lunch so we pig out. I ordered a chicken ceasar salad which balances out a bit but not much as all the meals are on the large side. We waddle off to find our seats at the theatre, which turn out to be about 10 from the front and to the side, nothing to complain about there. The show’s a crack up with lots of gags from Holy Grail and other MPython shows. On the way back to the hotel we do some shopping and Chris buys an MTV t-shirt. We get back and rest a while, do some internet stuff, check the dollar, $US0.80 for an Ausi dollar.

We go out for dinner (didn’t eat at the hotel once)and end up at a pizza restaurant Chris saw advertised, Angelo’s. Nice; thin base, crust burnt and peppery, just the way I like it, cuz its all about me, oh and Chris enjoys it too, as she ordered it and I got the spaghetti and (3) meat balls.

Let the belt out still further; the Wii is going to break when I get back.
-: Again we waddle back to the hotel and crash earlier than 10 o’clock for the first time since we’ve been here.
