Day09 Yosemite

Wake and up out of the tent about 6:30am and off to the rec room to upload some pics and recall yesterdays events. So much seems to have happened since we left home; it feels like a month ago. I go and wake Chris up about 20 to 9. We buy breaky, just a coffee and muffin on the run, and we get some lunch too, sangas, biscuits, water for the day, and off we go to the top of Glacier Point.
We have a good view of all the highest points within the park and see some climbers half way up Half Dome. We start our 4.7 mile walk down from Glacier Point to the floor of the valley.
Some fantastic scenery on the way down and we arrive about 2 hrs 45 min later at 3:00pm. We should sleep well tonight.
Steve is there to meet us and we go for a bit more of a tour around, take a few more pics and see some climbers on El Captain. The average climber takes 4-5 days but Steve says the record is 2 hrs 45 min which I cant believe.
Back to the resort and straight to the tavern for a drink and reflection on the day. Magic.
